When sefton park gates open and acts start for big weekend

SEFTON PARK'S OPENING TIMES AND STAGE TIMES 06:30, 22 May 2025 Radio 1's Big Weekend is set to take over Sefton Park this week, marking the first time the festival has visited

Liverpool. An estimated 100,000 fans will flock to the area with preparations nearly complete for opening day. The festival takes place each year in a different location across the UK, with

a superstar lineup curated by the radio station. This year's big names include Sam Fender, Mumford & Sons, Tate McRae, Sugababes, Haim, JADE, AJ Tracey, Myles Smith, Wet Leg,

Blossoms, Lola Young and many more. The festival will open at different times across the weekend, with each event expected to end at 10pm. There will be several hours of grace before the
