opportunity with every seat at Goodison Park now available for sale. The men’s senior team bid farewell to the Grand Old Lady with a 2-0 win over Southampton earlier this month. Tens of

month, Everton offered season ticket holders and hospitality members the opportunity to purchase their matchday seat, a move that ended months of speculation over whether they would be made

available. The sales window for those seats closed this week, with the club reporting demand had been “excellent”. Following an assessment of the numbers, the remaining seats have now gone

on general sale, opening up the chance for non-season ticket holders to own a unique slice of history. Article continues below Each seat will be presented in a special display box and come

with a certificate of authenticity. Wooden seats are priced at £145 and plastic and padded seats at £125 (with £10 postage and packaging for both). The decision adds further weight to the

idea Goodison will be forever changed even if the historic venue will continue to be used by the club. The ground is to become the new home of Everton Women next season and may host academy

matches as well. Article continues below Changes will be made to accommodate its new hosts, with revamps expected to the dressing rooms and other parts of the stadium. Everton will need to

replace the seats that are sold and had already begun to consider a complete refit of the seats - a move that will give them an opportunity to re-configure the rows and attendance going

forward.
