on Boxing Day. Brenda Blethyn's much-loved detective is back, with season 13 having been filmed over the summer of 2023. Vera is set for a bit of a shakeup, as DS Aiden Healy (played by

Kenny Doughty) has left and DS Joe Ashworth, played by David Leon, is back. David was spotted on set back in May, weeks after Kenny's departure was confirmed. About his return, David
