Amy walsh talks 'weird' emmerdale moment after honeymoon with soap star husband

Amy Walsh, who's best known as Tracy Metcalfe in ITV's long-running soap opera Emmerdale, is very much part of a showbiz family. Her sister Sally preceded her on Emmerdale, playing

the character of Lyn Hutchinson, and their other sister Kimberley shot to fame as part of Girls Aloud. But, all that showbiz heritage didn't make it any easier for Amy when she

returned from her honeymoon and found herself immediately having to kiss another man. Tracy is known for her numerous dalliances on the show, and one key storyline had her cheating on her

husband Nate (played by Jurell Carter) with Caleb Milligan (William Ash). Despite the fact that her husband, Toby-Alexander Smith, is also an actor and former EastEnders star, she said she

still found the experience "weird." Speaking on the Off Script podcast, Amy explained: "When I went off for my wedding and came back from my honeymoon, literally the next day

I had to snog two different people on set – Nate and Caleb. And I thought, 'This is so weird'. "I was coming home from work and, I was kissing [Toby] hello from work and I

think, 'I haven't even washed my face'." There are some mild spoilers below. Amy's character Tracy is going through a particularly torrid time at the moment. She had

been struggling to make ends meet financially after Nate stopped sending child support payments for their daughter Frankie (Eden Ratcliffe-Knights). She resorted to raiding the till at Eric

Pollard's farm shop, while trying to convince him that his own accounting errors were responsible for the missing money. But worse is to come, as a shock discovery makes her a murder

suspect. Amy revealed that there are a number of factors that point the finger of suspicion at her. "Just little bits like that Tracy using Nate's credit card, and stuff like that

because that plants her further in the frame of potentially having motive to get rid of him," she added. "It's initial shock and then it's a pretty instant emotional

breakdown mainly through the guilt she has about it, about not looking for him. "Thinking the worst, you know, all the bad things she said about him since knowing that all that time he

was, you know, dead in the lake. It's really heartbreaking. The whole everything that unfolds after that initial news is just heartbreaking." But she has playfully warned for other

villagers on the ITV soap to "not mess" with Tracy as she fights for her innocence in upcoming episodes. While Tracy is convinced it was Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) who beat Nate

up before he "left", she'll be receiving most of the accusations. Tracy will even lie to the police and tell them that she was at her sister Vanessa's on the day he died,

forcing her to corroborate with her alibi. In other spoilers, Tracy and Ruby get into a scrap which leads to the former slapping Ruby across the face. Taking to her Instagram story, Amy

reposted the snap and wrote: "Do not mess with our Trace".
