Emmerdale fans 'concerned' for missing character as ross barton drops bombshell

Emmerdale aired a bombshell moment for Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) on Thursday (May 29) as he discovered how his biological mum died following a slip-up from brother Ross (Mike Parr).

During the latest visit to the village, Lewis questioned Ross over his complicity in the cover-up of Emma's death after he accidentally slipped up and called her killer a

"she". Lewis soon worked out that Moira was the guilty party and demanded that Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), who was at Aaron and John's wedding, immediately return home to

explain herself. Moira promptly left the ceremony and explained her part in Emma's death. Both she and Ross reasoned that Lewis needed to be "protected" from the full truth.

Despite their warnings, Lewis continued to demand answers. In a heartfelt recollection, Moira explained the situation from her perspective as she shared that the villainous Emma wanted a

"way out" following her various crimes, with her picking "the person she hated the most" to do the deed. Lewis, however, reasoned that his mother was a woman in need of

treatment, and that neither Moira nor Ross could ever justify their actions despite Emma's various crimes. Lewis didn't hold back as he branded Ross a "bully". Despite

all the drama among the Barton family, Emmerdale fans were quick to show concern for Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), who is still locked away in Lewis' attic. As viewers will know, Ross

and Mack are planning to earn extra cash by selling cannabis. After Lewis failed to supply them with more plants, Ross decided to steal Lewis' batch from his house and made Mack carry

out the dirty work. Ross stole his brother's house keys, and Mack entered the property to find Lewis' attic had been converted into a cannabis farm. However, Lewis got a

notification on his mobile phone alerting him to movement in the attic via a camera and caught Mack in the act. Rather then let Mack go to Aaron (Danny Miller) and John's (Oliver

Farnworth) wedding, he remotely locked the attic door so Mack couldn't escape. On Thursday, Mack was nowhere to be seen sparking concern among fans. Taking to X, one person wrote:

"Has Lewis forgotten Mack is still stuck in that loft stinking of weed and whiskey? Emmerdale." A second asked: "Where is Mack. #Emmerdale." A third pointed out: "I

love that Mack has just been in Lewis’ loft for all this episode #Emmerdale." "Mack’s munchies must be reaching such a point that he’s debating eating his shoe by now though
