Soap fans will doubtless already know that Daisy Midgeley, portrayed by Charlotte Jordan, bade farewell to Weatherfield not long ago. The actress debuted as the Rovers Return's barmaid
in 2020, swiftly endearing herself to audiences. In a gripping departure from Coronation Street, her character informed the police of her mum Christina Boyd’s (played by Amy Robbins) scheme
to con Jenny Connor (portrayed by Sally Ann Matthews) out of her cash – a plan Daisy was initially part of. Yet, it emerged that Daisy had absconded with the money herself, embarking on a
new chapter abroad. Since leaving the beloved ITV soap, Charlotte has been sharing glimpses of her life post-Weatherfield. Fans have playfully remarked on social media that they've
uncovered the whereabouts of Jenny's pilfered pounds. Reveling in life away from the fictional street, Charlotte posted holiday photos from Sint Maarten. Penning a light-hearted caption
on Instagram, Charlotte noted: "Cute car, terrible driver, sensational holiday hair." > It didn't take long for fans to chime in with their reactions. One quipped:
"So that's how you're spending Jenny's money. Have a wonderful time." A second admired: "You look as gorgeous as ever, and we are all definitely missing you in
Corrie." Another jestingly wrote: "So that's what you did with Jenny's money!" Meanwhile, a fourth fan expressed: "Missing you on Corrie. Such a beaut."
While the departure of her character, Daisy, was nothing short of explosive, Charlotte has hinted at a possible return to the cobbles. Despite leaving with quite the impact, the potential
for Daisy's reappearance remains. Charlotte previously expressed gratitude to producer Kate Brooks, remarking: "Producer Kate [Brooks] has been so supportive about me wanting to go
back out into the audition circuit and very generous with Daisy's exit story, as she really wanted to do the character justice. "Coronation Street is a very special building, and
I have loved it. And it's just goodbye for now, not goodbye forever." Following her exit from the soap, Charlotte conveyed her thanks via Coronation Street's social channels,
stating: "Hello. I wanted to pop on and say thank you for all of the love you've shown Daisy over the last four-and-a-half years. "It's been wonderful. It's been an
honour to be a little piece of the Corrie history and I will miss this place very, very much. And yeah, it's goodbye for now." In addition to hinting at new opportunities during
her recent chat on This Morning, Charlotte shared her enthusiasm for future endeavours, expressing: "I do feel excited; it's a fresh start." Taking pride in her
accomplishments, she added: "I feel like I've done a lot of soapy things. I've done the checklist. [Coronation Street] has been really good to me, and it just feels like time
for a new beginning." Following a prompt from This Morning's soap expert Sharon Marshall with: "But next, The Archers?", the acclaimed actress verified her involvement in
the iconic British radio soap opera The Archers on BBC Radio 4, but was tight-lipped about the details. "Yes, I am. I am joining The Archers, which is really fun," she revealed.
"I start very soon, I can't say very much about it, but the character will ruffle some feathers. That's what I can say." CORONATION STREET IS ON ITV AT 8PM MONDAY,
WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY AND AVAILABLE TO STREAM FROM 7AM ON ITVX
