A44-year-old Agoura man was sentenced Tuesday to three years in state prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of lewd conduct with his stepdaughter. Thomas G. Burns, a former plumber
originally charged with seven sex-related offenses, admitted molesting his stepdaughter over a two-year-period, starting when she was 13. In an agreement with the district attorney’s office,
Burns pleaded guilty to the lewd-conduct count in Superior Court in Van Nuys in exchange for the dropping of the other charges. He surrendered to police in December, 1983. Prosecutor Robert
