‘the boys’ spinoff casts two leads, nears series order

_The Boys_ spinoff is closing in on a series order at Amazon. In addition, Jaz Sinclair (_Chilling Adventures of Sabrina_) and Lizze Broadway (_Here and Now_) have been cast in lead roles in

the series, _THR_ has confirmed. The official description: “Set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and run by Vought International), the untitled series is

described as an irreverent, R-rated show that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best

contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of _The Boys_.” The bawdy superhero drama has been a success for Amazon, which

picked up a third season of the series months before the second season premiered last October. _The Boys_ showrunner Eric Kripke will executive produce the spinoff, while _The Boys_ writer

and executive producer Craig Rosenberg will serve as showrunner. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis and Darick

Robertson will also serve as executive producers. Serving as co-executive producers for the series are Sarah Carbiener, Erica Rosbe, Aisha Porter-Christie, Judalina Neira, Zak Schwartz. _The
