STORY LINKS NABC TOP 25 KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Augustana College men's basketball jumped eight spots and is now ranked 11th in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Top 25


Poll. The Vikings (7-0, 1-0 NSIC) received votes in the preseason poll and moved into the top 25 in the first regular season edition of the rankings making its debut at No. 19 last week.  


The Vikings have won seven straight games to open the 2014-15 season and will play their first games away from Sioux Falls this weekend. Augustana opens its road schedule with a top-25


match-up as the Vikings will take on 13-th ranked Minnesota State on Friday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. at the Taylor Center in Mankato, Minn.   Augustana is one of three NSIC teams to earn a spot in


the top 25 poll. MSU Moorhead jumped into the top 25 this week coming in at No. 19. The Vikings made the second largest jump in the coaches poll from last week moving up eight spots. Barry


(Fla.) jumped 12 spots after last week from No. 24 to No. 12.     West Liberty (W. Va.) earned 14 first-place votes and the No. 1 spot in the poll for the second straight week. Southern


Connecticut State is ranked second, followed by Bellarmine in third, Florida Southern in fourth and Indiana (Pa.) in fifth.   Augustana enters the week ranking first in the NSIC and 22nd in


the country averaging 88.6 points per game. The Vikings lead the NSIC and rank 12th in the country out-scoring opponents by 22.4 points while leading the league and ranking third in the NCAA


with a +16.4 rebound margin.  Augustana has dished out 18.1 assists per game which leads the NSIC and ranks 32nd in the nation.   Following Friday night's game at Minnesota State,
