New netflix crime doc you 'need to watch' is 'leaving people with chills'

Everyone with a Netflix subscription knows the pain of scrolling through its options in search for something to watch. To help out, a streaming buff has shared the 'best' true

crime documentary to watch when you want to educate and scare yourself at the same time. Taking to TikTok, EccyReviews said: "Netflix have just dropped a brand new true crime

documentary and one of the most disturbing murder cases in British history. You need to check it out tonight." Released this month, the show is called Fred and Rose West A British

Horror Story. The three-episode series explores the true story of Fred and Rose West's horrific acts when living in a unsuspecting house in Gloucester, England, in the 1980s to 1990s.

Explaining the harrowing story, a Tudum By Netflix statement reads: "In 1994 in Gloucester, England, police visited 25 Cromwell Street, acting on a tip from social services regarding a

horrifying rumour they were told by the children of the couple who lived there, Fred and Rose West. "If they misbehaved, the children said, they’d end up under the patio like their

sister, Heather, who had not been seen since 1986. "Police would eventually uncover not only the murdered and dismembered remains of Heather, but also eight additional bodies buried in

the garden and cellar. "So begins the investigation uncovering one of the most heinous and heartless murder sprees in modern history." It continued: "Fred and Rose West: A

British Horror Story tells how a couple who were, to those who observed them, in a loving, committed relationship could be capable of such gruesome crimes. "Through 107 police interview

tapes covering over 50 hours of interrogations, much of it previously unseen and -heard, this three-part docuseries sheds new light on the notorious murders of at least 12 women." The

series dives into Fred and Rose's sick personalities and lifestyle as well as where they are and what they're doing today. Commenting on the TikTok recommendation, one user said:
