Eamonn Holmes gave viewers quite a shock when he stumbled off his chair during a live broadcast, prompting his co-host Charlie Rowley to express concern and check if he was alright. The GB

News star quickly asserted he was "fine" and encouraged Charlie to "carry on", though the clearly concerned presenter struggled to proceed with his words after witnessing

the incident. The mishap occurred at 6:15am today, merely a fortnight following a previous fall at Holmes' home that led to an urgent hospital visit. Though the camera was trained on

Charlie at the moment, the noise of the fall was unmistakable, as fellow presenter Ellie Costello could be heard shouting: "Oh my Gosh!". Eamonn quickly regained his composure,

telling his fellow broadcasters: "I'm fine, fine, fine, carry on, carry on!" but they appeared visibly shaken. An extended ad break took place just seconds later, allowing

time for Eamonn to be tended to - and during that period, streams of concerned tweets appeared on X. One viewer wrote: "What just happened to Eamonn Holmes on @GBNEWS? Big crashing

sound then straight to adverts. Hope all ok." Six minutes later the mystery was solved as the break ended and Eamonn reappeared on screens, jokily declaring: "I'm alive!"

He blamed the "wonky" wheels on his chair saying: "They're very wonky wheels on chairs we've got here, as a matter of fact we don't really like the chairs

here. "It was a shock for me because I had a fall two weeks ago in my bathroom that hospitalised me and that hit me right in the back." Eamonn added: "That hit me again right

in the back. Really really sore, really sore." A GB News representative said that everything was "fine" and that they would speak with Eamonn following the show. It comes

after Eamonn suffered a setback in his recovery after being rushed to hospital when taking a tumble at home two weeks ago. The broadcaster was left in lots of pain after falling onto his

bathroom floor earlier this month. Eamonn, who is often seen out in a wheelchair or on crutches, has struggled with his mobility for the last few years as he battles intense back pain. His

chronic condition began unexpectedly in 2021 and soon he was unable to walk without a stick to help him. BREAKFAST WITH EAMONN AND ELLIE AIRS WEEKDAYS ON GB NEWS FROM 6AM
