A MasterChef Finalist is bringing a unique food event to Yarm. Nick Rapson, MasterChef Finalist 2023, and now Director of Épico Events, is bringing his Latin roots, MasterChef experience to
venues across the North East. The upcoming event, ‘The Latin Fiesta! Supper Club’ promises an exciting culinary experience that fuses his Latin roots with his extensive background in
Michelin-starred restaurants and his MasterChef journey. Originally from Venezuela, Nick, 34, is now based in the North East, and is dedicated to creating unique events that highlight the
local food scene. The next gathering will take place at Luna Blu in Yarm, featuring a vibrant Fiesta concept. The evening will begin with a relaxed ambiance, showcasing soft tunes
reminiscent of the Buena Vista Social Club. Gradually, the music will crescendo in volume and tempo, culminating in an energetic atmosphere with a live DJ playing lively Latin hits to
encourage dancing. Nick has previously hosted a fine dining experience at Fourteen Drops in Yarm, as well as a woodfire steak event at The Poorhouse in Great Ayton. Additionally, he has
worked with Brew York, providing Latin street food at their pub in Otley, showcasing his versatility and ability to adapt his cooking style to various venues and their unique facilities—such
as utilizing the wood-fired pizza oven at The Poorhouse for steak preparation. Nick said: "I have been doing events every month since the launch of my business Épico Events." With
its fitting atmosphere, including a bar offering cocktails and a dance floor, Luna Blu is the ideal venue for this festive celebration, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.
Nick shared that he had never heard of the Master Chef program until a heart-warming moment during a friend's funeral. A kind soul at the service mentioned the program to him and even
took the time to send him an application form. This unexpected turn of events transformed Nick's life for the better, as he not only participated but also reached the finals in 2023. He
said: "A highlight in my career would definitely being asked to cook for the Who's Cooking Dinner event at The Dorchester Hotel with some of the top Michelin chefs in the world
which raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for Leukaemia UK and of course being a Knock week finalist in MasterChef!." Nick is a devoted partner and a proud father to his
seven-year-old daughter, Phoenix, who loves to join him in the kitchen, sharing in the joy of preparing meals together. He said: "I studied in London. At Aloysius and then Westminster
Kingsway". With a passion for cooking, Nick has organized numerous events focused on his specialty: Latin cuisine, a culinary tradition he holds dear. The event will be on Thursday, May
