Pub customer 'punched in face' in middlesbrough bar attack

A pub customer was 'punched in the face' in a Middlesbrough bar attack - and now as police have released a CCTV image. The attack happened inside Boro Bar, in Albert Road, when

officers say a 39-year-old man was standing at the bar near to the entrance when he was punched to the face. The force of the assault left him with an injury to his eye and cheek. The

incident sparked a police ivestigation, with officers conducting various enquiries including gathering footage and speaking to witnesses in a bid to identify the person responsible. Now the

force has released a CCTV image of a man in a camel coloured jacket and a white t-shirt, who they would like to speak to, to potentially help with inquiries. A Ceveland Police spokesperson

said: "As the investigation continues, officers are keen to speak to the man in the photo who could assist further with enquiries." Anyone with information on the assault which

happened at around 10.35pm on Saturday, April 5, should call Cleveland Police on 101 or on the police's website, quoting reference number 060646. Information can also be provided
