This is the moment a Porsche participating in a supercar passenger ride experience crashes near Hardwick Park. No one was injured in the one-vehicle crash on the A177 close to the entrance
of Hardwick Hall Hotel, in Sedgefield. Video footage shows a Porsche pulling out of the popular hotel grounds, where a JPC Specialist Motorsports event, Smiles for Miles, was taking place.
The engine revs as the supercar, which is understood to be on a passenger ride experience, drives up the A177 before suddenly losing control and swerving before crashing into the grass verge
on the opposite side of the road. A spokesperson for the event said: "A non-injury road traffic collision happened near the entrance to the hotel during the JPC Specialist Motorsports
event. "It involved a Porsche participating in a supercar passenger ride experience. Police and fire services attended as a precaution – the police were already there supporting the
event – but nobody was hurt and no action was taken. The event did not finish early and continued until 4pm." The annual event "promises an action-packed day of automotive
entertainment" as it raises vital funds for JPC Community Farm, based at the TAD Centre in Middlesbrough, a special and complex needs charity. Hundreds of performance cars were on
display for the family friendly event. Passenger ride experiences were being offered at the ticketed event giving supercar enthusiasts the chance to ride shotgun in a selection of
performance cars in a five-mile drive, off-site, on a pre-selected route. After three years of the Smiles for Miles event being held at Croft Race Circuit, in Dalton-on-Tees, this is the
first year the event has taken place at Hardwick Hall. JPC Community Farm has thanked everyone who attended the event on social media as they say they are "lost for words at the support
and comments". A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called at 12.40pm yesterday afternoon to reports of a one-vehicle collision at Hardwick Park, Sedgefield.
Nobody is believed to have been injured." Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service was also called to the incident but were not required. A spokesperson for North East Ambulance
Service said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on A177 near Hardwick Hall shortly after 12.30pm on Sunday, June 1. However, no one required treatment and no resource were
dispatched." Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will auto-play soon8Cancel FOR BREAKING NEWS IN YOUR AREA DIRECT TO YOUR INBOX EVERY DAY, GO HERE TO
