Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on Middlesbrough's A172 Marton Road. Paramedics and firefighters are in attendance following a crash near the junction with Park Road
South. One man is understood to have been treated for injuries believed to be minor. Motorists say traffic is being diverted down Park Road South but is blocked southbound. A photograph from
the scene shows two cars surrounded by a two fire engines and an ambulance. AA Traffic map is showing that the road is closed in both directions. A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said:
"At 7.45am on Friday, May 30, police were called to a two-vehicle collision on Park Road South near to Marton Road in Middlesbrough. Officers, alongside the fire service and ambulance,
attended. One man has been treated by paramedics for injuries believed to be minor." A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service added: "We were called to a two vehicle road
traffic incident on Park Road, Middlesbrough shortly before 7.45 this morning. We dispatched a double crewed ambulance and two patients were treated and discharged at the scene." FOR
