129 percent from January 2016, according to the latest figures released by the port. One of the most routinely shipped cargoes last month included liquid asphalt, shipped by Nustar
Energy. Last year, Nustar Energy shipped over 31,000 barrels of asphalt by barge through Tulsa Port of Catoosa, thus allowing the port to continue receiving, storing and shipping liquid
asphalt in large quantities within the region. The port operates as a multi-modal shipping complex on a 2,500-acre industrial park, supplying nearly 3,200 jobs to regional workers and
catering to 72 companies within the transportation industry.
