Conor mcgregor ban: ufc supremo dana white responds

That’s according to UFC supremo Dana White who has defended the organisations decision not to clamp down on the Dubliner. McGregor appeared in court after the Brooklyn showdown ahead of UFC

223, but never got a ban. When asked why, White told _TMZ Sport_: “It’s different circumstances, you guys – this wasn’t at an event. “This was in the bowels of the Barclays Centre, it was a

completely different situation. “(McGregor) was dealing with the state of New York and the police. “In this thing, (Nurmagomedov) was part of something that was regulated by the Nevada State

Athletic Commission. “He was at an event with more people that have ever been at an event for a UFC event in Vegas. There were tons of fans there. It’s a much different situation.” McGregor

lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov on Sunday morning and is now considering his next move. Khabib won the lightweight fight by submission in the fourth round to consign McGregor to just his second

UFC defeat. However, the clash was marred by the sickening scenes that followed the fight. Khabib stormed out of the octagon and his associates crashed in. The Russian leapt out to attack

Bellator fighter Dillon Danis who is one of McGregor's closest allies. Danis was then escorted out of the arena by police. Despite the controversy, White reckons giving Khabib a fine

would suffice. “I think they should take ($250,000) from him,” he added. “(He) absolutely keeps his title. “And he’s going to get suspended, so maybe you give him a four to six months

suspension.” The fallout and recriminations from the sickening scenes are still ongoing. Respected UFC pundit Joe Rogan claims the mass brawl was sparked by something Danis said coupled with

an illegal McGregor move. "Khabib was angry because Conor was grabbing Khabib's gloves," he explained. "He was hooking against his gloves, he was doing it illegally and

Khabib said to [referee] Herb Dean that he did it three times. That's what it was all about. That's why he fired up." On whether Khabib's moves were pre-planned, Rogan

said: "I don't think it's calculated. I think he was in the moment and full of passion. "I think Conor will come out the victim here and Khabib is going to have a very

difficult time getting a visa. This is incredibly disappointing - I can't believe we needed more security than we did. "The fact his friends jumped in the cage and punched McGregor

in the face when Conor had no idea that was going to happen, he wasn't even involved in that. "The whole thing is extremely unfortunate and a black eye on the sport. We

couldn't hear what he said but Dillon absolutely was insulting Khabib and that's when he jumped over the fence and attacked him. "I couldn't believe my eyes when it was

happening. When he went over the top and into the crowd, I couldn't believe it."
