live renditions of tracks from her latest album, 'Cowboy Carter', at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston. Earlier this week, Jackson made headlines when he announced his

intention to watch Beyonce's halftime show during the second of two Netflix NFL games on Christmas Day. He told reporters: "I'm going to go out there and watch. [It will be

my] first time seeing Beyonce perform, and it's at our game - that's dope. I'm going to go out and watch. Sorry [head John] Harbaugh, sorry. Sorry, fellas." Jackson was

candid about his admiration for Beyonce, saying: "No, I'm not even thinking about the lead. I was just thinking about just seeing Beyonce for the first time. Not saying it like

that; no disrespect or [anything], because I know how people can take things." Despite the allure, Jackson remained in the locker room during her performance, as confirmed by Ravens

head coach John Harbaugh, who heard the pop icon's set from there. Although Harbaugh didn't instruct Jackson to remain with the team, he made sure his star player wasn't

planning on a mid-game dash to catch a glimpse of Beyonce. Meanwhile, without taking time out for the show, Jackson surpassed Mike Vick as the greatest rushing quarterback NFL history has

seen. After delivering an MVP-worthy performance, he was benched early in the fourth quarter in favour of Josh Johnson. This seemed to serve as a sort of festive gesture. Analyst Shannon

Sharpe, previously critical on ESPN's First Take, worried about Jackson prioritising Beyonce over the game: "Hopefully, Lamar was just joking and saying that tongue in cheek.

"I mean, Beyonce is worth seeing, trust me. I've seen her in concert and the entire two hours is worth the price of admission." "But I think Lamar understands that

he's the leader of the team and the last thing that you want is him out there and you got the whole team watching the ball game. "Let's stay focused, you're very close to

getting to where you need to be. Because at the end of the day, you want to be at the Super Bowl." Jackson's 11-5 Ravens are on the brink of clinching first place in the AFC North

with a victory over the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, Jan. 5.
