Arsenal beat Leeds United in a dramatic clash at Elland Road on Sunday as they extended their lead at the top of the Premier League. After the match was suspended for 40 minutes due to

technical difficulties, Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for the Gunners 10 minutes before half-time. The goal turned out to be the winner and _Express Sport_ looks at five things we learned

from the match in Yorkshire. WORK STILL TO BE DONE Arsenal are not the finished article just yet. Leeds were by far the better team in the second half and deserved to come back into the

game. William Saliba perhaps had his most shaky performance in an Arsenal shirt to date. He gave away a penalty, which was put wide by Patrick Bamford, and was caught out on a couple of

other occasions. TOMIYASU LEAPFROGS TIERNEY For the second successive Premier League match, Takehiro Tomiyasu started in an unfamiliar position at right-back. Kieran Tierney was again

overlooked by Arteta, just like he was for the visit of Liverpool last weekend. Oleksandr Zinchenko is still out with a muscular injury but even in his absence, Tierney cannot get into the

team. Zinchenko's first few appearances in an Arsenal shirt showed how Arteta wants his left-back to drift into midfield. He clearly feels Tomiyasu is better than Tierney at that aspect

at the moment. The Japan star is more than comfortable on both feet and Tierney now finds himself the third-choice at left-back at this moment in time. READ MORE: LIVERPOOL SEND SCOUTS TO

HIJACK CHELSEA PLANS AS BOEHLY PLOTS £80M SPREE NO VAR, NO PARTY VAR caused more chaos but this time it was not for a decision on the pitch. The match was delayed for 40 minutes due to a

power cut at Elland Road. Referee Chris Kavanagh lost all communication with VAR and goal-line technology and the players returned to the dressing rooms after just two minutes of action.

Clearly there is no way the Premier League would allow a game to take place unless all the technology was working in order to maintain fairness across the weekend's matches. VAR had its

say on the pitch late on as it rightly overturned a penalty to Leeds and red card to Gabriel in stoppage time. SAKA ON FIRE Bukayo Saka scored his fourth goal in the space of a week and

continues to shine in a Gunners shirt. He was providing assists for his team-mates at the beginning of the campaign, after going 10 matches without a goal dating back to last season. But he

has now found his shooting boots again. The England star has now featured in Arsenal's last 52 league matches, starting 49 of them. He is irreplaceable at the moment on the right-hand

side of the attack. DON'T MISS MBAPPE 'CONSIDERING BREAKING PSG CONTRACT' AFTER MESSI INFO EMERGES TOTTENHAM MAY HAVE UNWANTED STAR SENT BACK AMID 'DISASTROUS' LOAN
