Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have ruled out the possibility of signing Manchester City winger Leroy Sane this window, as the German club turn their attention to other targets. Spanish
newspaper _AS_ say the German giants will wait until the summer to move for Sane. The Germany international is currently recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained in
the Community Shield tie against Liverpool, which has kept him out since August and is likely to sideline him for the majority of the rest of the season. Because of this, the German
champions have not renewed their interest in Sane. This is a huge boost for the current Premier League title holders, who will want to keep hold of their valuable 23-year-old for the
foreseeable future. The German side’s Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic held a press conference on Thursday as part of Bayern’s training camp in Qatar, where he discussed the club’s
possible transfer business in this January transfer window. When asked about the possibility of signing Leroy Sane this month, Salihamidzic stated: “It is not an issue for the winter
window.” Despite this, the Bundesliga giants have not ruled out pursuing the winger in the summer and the 23-year-old's value may rise dramatically if he’s a successful part of
Germany’s squad in their Euro 2020 campaign. JUST IN: MAN UTD BOSS OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER GIVES CHANCES OF JANUARY TRANSFERS AS INJURY WOES MOUNT Guardiola’s City future is currently up in the
air with rumours over the Spaniard potentially quitting the Etihad rife this season. However, City don’t have to worry about the former Barcelona boss heading to rivals United. "If I
didn't have any offers, I would be in the Maldives," he said. "Maybe not the Maldives because it doesn't have any golf courses but after training City, I won't train
United, just like I would never train Madrid. "Definitely not."
