Mike Tyson has accused Jake Paul of faking a knockout during a sparring session ahead of their crunch fight on November 15. Legendary boxer Tyson is going up against YouTuber Paul in a bout
Texas later this month. With less than two weeks to go until the fight, the war-of-words between the two fighters is intensifying. In a video posted on his Instagram page, Paul knocks down
his sparring partner and then shouts into the camera: “Don't charge at me Tyson!” Some fans have spotted that the sparring partner appears to hit the canvas very easily. Tyson has now
fuelled the theory that it was a fake knockdown. Speaking on the Pound4Pound YouTube channel, Tyson said: "You seen his sparring session where the guy faked being knocked out? That was
beautiful.” Hosts Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo had not seen the clip and asked Tyson to expand: he continued: “It was a chubby guy. He took a fall. He took a dive!” Meanwhile, YouTuber KSI
described Paul as looking “awful” during his training. KSI has also entered boxing and has twice fought Paul’s brother Logan. KSI has been strongly linked with a bout with Jake. “I’ve seen
parts of his training footage. God, he just looks awful, man. He just looks so slow, so sluggish. This isn’t his natural weight. It is what it is.” However, the internet personality believes
Paul will ‘destroy’ Tyson due to their age difference. “When he [Tyson] does get obliterated and then people on Twitter are going to be like ‘how did we let this happen? Oh no, this is so
bad!’ I’m going to be the one being like ‘well, I f**king told you.” Many fans have wondered why Iron Mike, the undisputed heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990, has decided to fight again.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he pointed out that few boxers could claim to be able to sell out arenas at 58 years of age. He said: "[I’m] 58. I'm going to fight in the biggest arena
ever and it's going to be sold out, and who else can do that?” Asked about the 80,000-capacity AT&T Arena selling out for the fight, Tyson added: "It makes me feel like I have
to perform. They're giving me all that inspiration and letting me know that 'boy, you've got to perform tonight'. It's time to perform.”
