Game of Thrones season 8 news: Star drops BIG battle hint ‘We’ve nearly killed everyone’

Game of Thrones is used to producing seriously large-scale battles. 

Season eight is sure to be no different as pictures have already emerged from what many are calling the show’s biggest ever clash. 

And one of the women responsible for the scene even going ahead is Natalia Lee, who has been designing weapons on the show since season one. 

Having played a part in designing swords for pretty much ever major battle, the armorer would certainly know a thing or two about the grand finale. 

However, it seems she has been trained well herself and kept tight-lipped when grilled recently. 

She told Bustle: “I think at this point we’re all super exhausted.

“It feels like we’ve been thought everything,” Natalia said of her experience producing weapons for the final battle. 

The production member then teased: “I think we’ve killed like nearly everybody.”

Although clearly joking about how tired and worn-out the team are, could it have also been a hint of the devastating losses to come?

She went to discuss the importance of Heartsbane, after many fans think it will be the key to killing all of the White Walkers. 

The sword, which is currently owned by Samwell Tarly (John Bradley), is thought to be the key to Azor Ahai.

Natalia, however, explained she followed the family brief when designing the honoured weapon.

She explained: “We’re always trying to bring it back to the script. 

“The actual sigils used, and design elements, and trying to tell a story. 

“The House of Tarly is an arching family - hunting family - so we wanted to incorporate that into the hilt.

This comes as it appears one Targaryen character will be retuning in a shock bombshell for Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

Wilf Scolding, who plays Rhaegar Targaryen, posted a snap of him outside a Belfast hotel. 

Although the now-deleted picture could have been an innocent holiday memory, Game of Thrones is currently filming in the same place. 

Should Rhaegar return, it will most likely be in a flashback which would reveal more information about Jon’s parentage. 

Game of Thrones is expected to return to Sky Atlantic next year.
