Young Arthur Thomas (played by Alfie Clarke) has been furious at Emma (Gillian Kearney) ever since he found out that she tormented his father Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) before his

Speaking to his mother Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy), Arthur declared: “Mum I made a decision when I was in the bath. I want to go to Emma’s funeral tomorrow.”

While both Laurel and his sister Gabby (Rosie Bentham) were thrown by the youngster’s admission, those at home were more interested in what it meant for the ongoing murder investigation.
