While viewers have been aware that the celebrity hopefuls have been dealing with heavy rainstorms over the past week, the camp is now said to be on high alert due to the potential of heavy

thunderstorms and flash flooding.  The dangerous conditions are reportedly predicted a mere 40 miles from the ITV set in Australia, which could make the conditions too serious for the

reality series to continue.  The weather forecast states that the next seven days in Murwillumbah will see up to eight centimetres of rain, which is where the camp is based, and the warning

was issued by Southeast Queensland.  According to The Mirror, an insider for the series has said the evacuation is now a “real possibility”.  “Today's rain we had is just the

beginning,” the source said. “We are on high alert and are keeping our fingers crossed, but there is a very real possibility we will have to evacuate camp at some point.” It wouldn’t be the

first time a group of celebrities have been evacuated in the series’ lengthy-run, as only two years ago bosses moved the celebrities to safety in the Bush Telegraph.  The halt in regular

proceedings came as an intense storm charged through the jungle, with thunder and lightning tearing apart the camp. Despite the worrying weather warnings, producers have assured that an

evacuation would be the last resort on the hugely-popular show.
