MINDHUNTER: DRAMATIC TRAILER FOR SECOND SEASON OF NETFLIX SHOW Mindhunter is the crime thriller series on Netflix that everybody is talking about. The show is based on the real story of FBI

agent John E Douglas and his book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit. Douglas worked as part of the FBI’s Behaviour Science Unit, using criminal psychology and

criminal profiling to help catch serial killers. Across both seasons, fictional characters Holden Ford (played by Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) alongside psychologist Wendy

Carr (Anna Torv), interview imprisoned serial killers including Edmund Kemper (Cameron Britton), Charles Manson (Damon Herriman) and Wayne Williams (Christopher Livingston). Advertisement

RELATED ARTICLES In Mindhunter season one, episode three, Tench and Ford attempt to interview Benjamin Franklin Miller while they visit Dr Wendy Carr in Boston, Massachusetts. However, they

were denied the opportunity to interview Miller after he refused to talk to them. One fan on Reddit suggested the denial represented the difficulties Tench and Ford faced when they were just

starting out. They wrote: “I'm starting to think it was a made-up killer to show a scene of Tench and Ford being denied an interview with a killer. Just another example of the

bureaucracy difficulties they encounter on their journey.” WHAT WERE THE ATLANTA CHILD MURDERS? Advertisement Mindhunter is streaming on Netflix now (Image: NETFLIX) Instead, they got the

chance to meet with coed killer Edmund Kemper, who provided an interesting insight into the mind of a serial killer. The information gained from Kemper allowed Tench and Ford to profile a

suspect who was responsible for the murder of an elderly woman. The profile led them to Dwight Taylor (Tobias Segal), a man in his 30s with an abusive mother, like Kemper, who later

confessed to the crime. But who is Benjamin Franklin Miller? The man they may have met instead of Kemper. WHO WAS WAYNE WILLIAMS? We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you've

murders known as “The Bra Murders.” Miller was found guilty of murdering women by strangling them with their underwear between 1967 and 1971in Connecticut. His victims were five African

American females but he was found not guilty of two of the five murders by reason of insanity. Miller, a 42-year-old white man, moved to the state from Illinois aged 18, working at the

post-office for several years and preaching on street corners. He was interviewed several times by police after two more bodies were found in the same location as the other three victims.

information to the police about the victim which had not been made public knowledge. At the time, he was made to take a polygraph test that proved inconclusive. Miller had a history of

mental illness and had been in and out of the hospital growing up. In early February 1972, before he was charged with the murders, he was found to be suffering from chronic undifferentiated

schizophrenia. On February 29, 1972, after being under the care of psychiatrists at Fairfield Hills Hospital, Miller confessed to killing seven women in writing. He later admitted he had

killed three women, and others he could not remember. Advertisement On March 1, Miller signed the written confessions and took detectives to the area where the bodies had been found and on

March 17, 1972, he was indicted for the murders of five female victims. Miller was sentenced to 25 years in a mental institution in Connecticut and died in 2010 from natural causes.
