Game of thrones: real reason bran stark saved jaime lannister

Game of Thrones fans remember the season one scene that saw Bran Stark (played by Isaac Hempstead Wright) nearly killed at the hands of Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) to stop people

finding out about his relationship with Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey). However, fans were shocked to see their reunion in the finale, which saw Bran spare Jaime, revealing his target is

the Night King (Vladimír Furdík), not the man who nearly killed him as a boy. Many fans have since questioned why Bran spared Jaime, but one fan thinks Bran’s intentions were far less

honourable than first thought. Fans will know the siblings died in each other’s arms as The Red Keep fell in around them, and one fan suspects Bran wanted to see this play out. A second

agreed, adding: “Jaime being alive is what got Tyrion imprisoned. Tyrion said it himself that he came to the conclusion that Bran should be king because he had so much time to think about it

in prison.” Meanwhile, some fans think Arya stark is The Waif, based on the fact she gave up in her mission to kill Cersei. Reddit user seedyProfessor speculated: “She had a list of people

to kill, that was supposed to later serve as a sacrifice to the many faced God. “In the books, she never gave up on this list. In the series, she got to the red keep and the hound turned her

away telling her to be safe, because it was dangerous to hunt Cersei. “It reminded me of how The Hound was on her list too, and I was burning with rage seeing Arya give up on 2 kills when

it was supposed to be her life's mission. “This just reinforces my Arya is the Waif theory.” However, not all fans agreed, with some claiming revenge was never the main objective for

Arya. One fan commented: “Revenge was never her life's mission, just her mission. Which is what the Hound reminded her of. “That with Cercei being essentially dead already she was

finally free to do what she really wanted. She never gave up on her list, she finished it. They're all dead, the Hound included.”
