Itv loose women: christine reveals parents reaction to dating frank

Christine Lampard, 40, hosted Loose Women today and was joined by Jane Moore, Carol McGiffin and Saira Khan as they discussed reacting to their children’s boyfriends or girlfriends. When

asked by Jane how her parents reacted upon finding out about her dating Frank, 41, Christine revealed they were much more relaxed than some may expect. In fact, she explained her parents

weren't fazed at all by Frank's footballer status. Christine commented: "Well, the fact is that they're not into football whatsoever. "Like a lot of footballing

families would be like, 'Oh my gosh, he plays football!'" She went on to explain: ”My parents just don't have a clue. “So it's actually quite refreshing because they

will never talk football to him and he quite likes that” Frank certainly had Christine’s parents' approval as she said she’s never brought anyone home that they'd disapprove of.

"But I was always wanting to keep mum and dad happy and they always trusted me - I hope - to never really make a wrong decision," she added. Also on today's show, the ladies

discussed whether they inspire their partner’s wardrobe. Christine complemented Frank’s style as she thought he looked "quite dapper" when she first met him. She trusts his opinion

too when it comes to her own style and even takes his advice. She went on to say: ”He wears a suit well, I think. I would actually trust him to buy clothes for me." The pair met for

the first time at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2009 and got married in 2015. Christine announced the birth of their first child together last year on Instagram with a photo. She wrote:

“Let us introduce you to our little girl. Patricia Charlotte Lampard! We're so in love.” The couple named the baby girl Patricia after Frank’s mum who died in 2008. Christine decided to

wait to find out her baby’s gender until she was born. "I still don't know [the gender]. I think there are not enough surprises in the world any more," the mum-to-be remarked
