Today’s edition of This Morning saw Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford discussing the potential next child of Thomas Beatie - the world’s first pregnant man. Despite the fact that his wife,
Amber, has recently given birth to their first child together, Thomas revealed he is open to carrying another child. Thomas has previously given birth to three children from his first wife
Nancy Gillespie. However as Thomas has recently had lower surgery, he would be able to carry a baby, but would not be able to give birth to it. On whether he would carry another child, he
explained: “I would if I could. “The issue is we still have frozen embryos related to this guy [Jackson] here. That's a big decision we have to make. "She [Amber] said if I wanted
a girl I'd have to do it myself and have to carry." Eamonn went on to comment: “You’re not short of options between the both of you!” To which Thomas laughed and replied: “This is
true!” On whether he would consider going through another pregnancy to give birth via a Caesarean section, he admitted: “I wouldn’t rule it out completely. I have had lower survey so
I'd have to have a Caesarean for sure. "I wouldn’t want to tear anything unnecessarily - you know what I mean. "Amber successfully carried and she's older. She's 48
right now, so it's still possible for her to do it as well." Speaking about his older children, and whether they had seen the images of him during pregnancy, he said: “I have zero
regrets in life in general. I feel the picture was provocative but it sparked a conversation which is very important. There are people like me who want families. "It's an image
people aren’t used to seeing. It's not something to hide, it's something to be proud about." Later on in today’s edition of This Morning saw Eamonn and Ruth speaking to
Amethyst Realm - who claimed she wants to have a baby with her ghost boyfriend. On whether she could conceive a phantom baby, she detailed: “I hope so, well, I would hope physical. “So, I’ve
been looking into phantom pregnancies, and I believe that a phantom pregnancy is a real pregnancy but you have a phantom inside you rather than a human baby. “The reason why we don’t manage
to carry them to full term, is because those people that have them don’t sort of understand this, or comprehend that that’s possible. “But I’m hoping through understanding what’s going on
with my body I’ll be able to.” _THIS MORNING AIRS WEEKDAYS AT 10.30AM ON ITV._
