The intelligence agency is said to be probing e-mails related to Mrs Clinton which “may be significant.” Jason Chaffetz tweeted that he had received information from the director of the FBI

that the case into Mrs Clinton would be re-opened.  The chairman of the US House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform tweeted: “The FBI has learned of the existence of emails that

appear to be pertinent to the investigation." Mrs Clinton was flying to Iowa, a key swing state, when the news broke.  Addressing a rally there, she conceded Trump could still win the

White House saying: "Anything can happen." However she did not mention the FBI re-opening the case. Less than half an hour after her speech in Cedar Rapids, an unnamed US official

told the Associated Press news agency the new emails did not come from Mrs Clinton's private server. The emails are said to relate to seized electronic devices belonging to a top aide

of Mrs Clinton’s, Huma Abedin, and her husband, Anthony Weiner. In a statement, her campaign chairman, John Podesta, said the FBI should immediately clarify its position.  He said:

"Director Comey's letter refers to emails that have come to light in an unrelated case, but we have no idea what those emails are and the Director himself notes they may not even

be significant.  "It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election.  "We are confident this will not produce any conclusions

different from the one the FBI reached in July." The new e-mails were found during an investigation into former Anthony Weiner's "sexting" scandal, the New York Times

reported. The White House said nothing has happened which would change President Obama's view of Hillary Clinton as a candidate. The saga relates to Mrs Clinton using a personal e-mail

server to access her mail, and whether they contained sensitive or classified information. Talking at a rally in New Hampshire, as news of the re-investigation broke, her rival Donald Trump,

said: "Hillary Clinton’s corruption is on a scale we’ve never seen before. We must not let her take her criminal scheme in to the Oval office. "I have great respect for the fact

the FBI and the Department of Justice are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake that they made. "This was a grave miscarriage of justice that the American people

fully understood and it’s everybody’s hope that it’s about to be corrected." Last July it emerged Mrs Clinton had not been using the state.gov e-mail server, instead using a private

one, while in office between 2009 and 2013.  The FBI spent a year investigating her use of the unauthorised account amid claims there were highly sensitive government secrets contained in

some of her correspondence.  Questions were raised that they she may have broken federal laws as the government forbids transmitting classified information over unsecured channels.  She has

never denied her involvement in the fiasco, previously saying: “If I had to do it over again, I would, obviously, do it differently. HILLARY CLINTON'S FIRST SPEECH FOLLOWING FBI

INVESTIGATION ”But I'm not going to make any excuses. It was a mistake and I take responsibility for that." Trump has used the email issue to delay publishing his tax returns,

saying: “I will release my tax returns against my lawyer's wishes when she releases her 33,000 e-mails that have been deleted.”  GETTY The saga relates to Mrs Clinton using a personal

email server to access her mail When the investigation was wrapped up in July, FBI Director James Comey said there was evidence Mrs Clinton and her staff may have broken some laws, but no

"reasonable" prosecutor would bring charges.  In a statement released on Friday, confirming they were reopening the case, he said: “In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI

has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. "I agreed the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to

review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation." If charges are brought, the punishment could

include a formal letter of reprimand or loss of security clearance.  The damning news came just days before America goes to the polls to decide the next president of the United States on

November 8. Director Comey said that he "cannot predict how long it will take us to complete this additional work." Mrs Clinton's political rival Mr Trump has repeatedly

grilled his counterpart over the e-mails, and said that she should be locked up, today calling the scandal "bigger than Watergate".  The billionaire has previously said he would

appoint a special prosector to look into the situation if he became the next US President, saying she “has to go to jail”.  GETTY Her political rival, Donald Trump, has repeatedly grilled

his counterpart over the emails The Republican candidate also called for President Barack Obama to be investigated over the e-mails.  In December 2014 Mrs Clinton handed over 30,0000 emails

after a formal request to the State Department.  She later said she had asked the department to make the majority of those public, but confirmed she had deleted more than 32,000 public

emails as well.  The US House Speaker, republican Paul Ryan, has said Mrs Clinton should not receive any classified briefings until the matter is “fully resolved”, referring to the briefings

presidential candidates typically receives.  In a statement he said: “This decision, long overdue, is the result of her reckless use of a private email server, and her refusal to be

forthcoming with federal investigators.  “I renew my call for the Director of National Intelligence to suspend all classified briefings for Secretary Clinton until this matter is fully

resolved.” State Department spokesman Mark Toner added: “We certainly stand ready to cooperate if we are asked to do so, but we just don't have any additional details or information at

this point.” GETTY In December 2014 Mrs Clinton handed over 30,0000 emails after a formal request Some of the revelations to emerge in the hacked emails are claims from Erica Garner,

daughter of Eric Garner who was strangled to death by a police office, who says Mrs Clinton tried to use her father’s death to her advantage.  In the latest batch of emails to be released by

WikiLeaks, Ms Garner lashed out at claims Mrs Clinton wanted to “use” the death of her father to highlight gun crime.  She tweeted: “I'm troubled by the revelation that you and this

campaign actually discussed "using" Eric Garner … Why would you want to 'use my dad?' “These people will co opt anything to push their agenda. Police violence is not the

same as gun violence.” RELATED ARTICLES Some of the other bombshells that came out as WikiLeaks released more and more emails was her campaign chairman, John Podesta, questioning her

“instincts”.  In an email to Neera Tanden, who worked for the Clinton campaign in 2008, he said: “We've taken on a lot of water that won't be easy to pump out of the boat.

"Most of that has to do with terrible decisions made pre-campaign, but a lot has to do with her instincts. And Mrs Tanden responded: "Almost no one knows better [than] me that her

instincts can be terrible."
