An investigator who presented "non-human" bodies to Mexico's congress maintains that his actions were entirely legal as Peru has launched a criminal probe. Peru launched the
investigation into how the alleged "aliens" left the country in the first place. Last week, alongside forensic scientists, journalist and UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan unveiled two
mummified corpses, which he claimed were the corpses of extraterrestrials. He contends that these mummified bodies, which he claims to be 1,000 years old, represent a groundbreaking
discovery in human history. However, the majority of the scientific community remains skeptical, suggesting that they are part of an already debunked, and possibly illegal, endeavor.
Maussan, 70, claims that the bodies were discovered around 2017 in Peru, near the enigmatic pre-Columbian Nazca Lines, ancient geoglyphs shrouded in mystery. Peruvian officials are now
vigorously questioning how these specimens, which they assert are of earthly origin, left the country and ended up in Maussan's possession. Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga has stated
that they are investigating the circumstances under which these bodies, described as pre-Hispanic objects, departed Peru, and a criminal complaint has been lodged. In response to the probe,
Maussan said: "I'm not worried. I have done absolutely nothing illegal." However, he could not answer how the bodies arrived in Mexico. When asked how the mummified corpses -
whom he calls Clara and Mauricio - came to be in his possession, he replied only that he would reveal all "at the appropriate time." On Tuesday, the alien enthusiast testified
under oath before Mexican lawmakers, claiming that "we are not alone" in the universe. The two alleged alien corpses were presented in windowed boxes in Mexico City on Wednesday.
His claims have not been proven and Maussan has previously been associated with previous claims of discoveries that have later been debunked. At the public hearing the self-professed
'ufologist' said: "These specimens are not part of our terrestrial evolution... These aren’t beings that were found after a UFO wreckage. They were found in diatom (algae)
mines, and were later fossilized.” Experts in Congress showed apparent X-rays of the specimens and said that one of the beings carried "eggs" with embryos inside them. After
comparisons were made to other DNA samples, it was found that over 30 percent of the specimens’ DNA was “unknown”, Maussan claimed. FOLLOW OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS HERE ON
