M4 traffic latest: lanes closed after lorry crash causes chaos"

One lane has been forced to close in both directions this morning after three lorries collided yesterday. Traffic services are reporting severe delays on the M4 heading west due to the


collision yesterday. As of this morning, the delays were pinpointed to between J17, Chippenham and J18 heading towards Bath.  Traffic tracking services had claimed no traffic was moving


earlier this morning.  Emergency services are working to repair damage caused to barriers this morning following the incident yesterday.  Due to this, two lanes remain closed today. Traffic


Wales reported the lane remains closed in both directions at J32.  A lane also remains closed on J45 Ynysforgan and J46 Llangyfelach this morning.  A seperate incident was also reported on


J45 heading Eastbound this morning.  Traffic Wales said: "We are currently dealing with an incident heading Eastbound at J45 "Vehicles are off the main road awaiting recovery,

the time: "South Wales Police is in attendance at a road traffic collision on the M4. "The road is closed in both directions between Junction 30 and 32. "Motorists are advised


to take an alternative route." Traffic services reported one of the lorries had collided with the central reservation on the motorway.  The condition of the injured person is not


known.
