London to Brighton Classic Car Run ROUTE MAPPED: Are classic cars passing YOUR home?

Classic car owners will descend on London this weekend for an annual drive to Brighton. Participants will hop into their vintage motors and set off along the roads to Brighton making a stop

off in Kent along the way. All cars over 25-years-old are eligible to take part in the classic car run. The entry fee is £99 for one driver and a navigator.

Classic cars will set off from Greenwich Park, London for Brighton on Sunday, June 3.

The starting point for this year’s classic car run is the same as the 2018 start venue.

Car run participants will have the chance to explore the world UNESCO venue before being waved off with the Union flag.

From Greenwich, the classic cars make their way through the Kentish countryside.

They will stop off at Chiddingstone Castle, Kent - 35 miles south south-east of London.

Participants will have VIP parking on the lawns at Chiddingstone.

they will also have entry to the historic castle and a chance to see its collection of Japanese and Egyptian artefacts.

From Chiddingstone, the cars will set off on the final leg of the drive to Brighton.

The classic car run will end at Madeira Drive in Brighton, right by the seaside town’s famous pier.

There will be a vintage car commentator awaiting participants in Brighton and drivers will have a chance to rest at their final destination.

Participants will also have VIP parking at the final stop off spot.

The car run will be rounded off with an awards ceremony.

Prizes will be given to the best period dressed participants and the longest distance travelled.

The classic car run will pass through parts of Bromley, Crockenhill and Sevenoaks before reaching Chiddingstone.

Residents near the stop off points in Chiddingstone and Brighton are most likely to get a glimpse of the classic car gathering.
