Inside zara and mike’s beautiful 700-acre estate they share with princess anne

Zara and Mike Tindall live on a stunning estate in Gloucestershire, which they share with Princess Anne. The couple, who got married in 2011, have three children, Mia (10), Lena (five), and

Lucas (two). The family live on the Gatcombe Estate in the heart of the Cotswolds. It is also home to Princess Anne, Sir Timothy Laurence and Peter Phillips. Princess Anne lives in the main

house, which Queen Elizabeth gifted to her in the 1970s after her marriage to Captain Mark Phillips. Olympic equestrian Zara grew up on the 700-acre estate and has previously praised the

location, branding it an "amazing" place as she loved being outside "all the time". It is something she is trying to replicate with her children. In an ITV interview, she

said of her upbringing in the countryside: "It was a great place to grow up - around horses, looking after animals - the respect and partnership that you have to build with the

animals. “It teaches you so much growing up and as a kid. It really is an amazing life starting to be outside all the time." Through Zara and Mike’s online and media presence, royal

fans have been able to get a sneak peek of their life in the country. One video shows the ex-England rugby star walking through the fields of the estate, with sprawling countryside

stretching out behind him as he sent his best wishes to a local rugby team. An interview on Good Morning Britain in 2020 showed their home office. Mike sat in a leather office chair with two

sofa chairs and portraits of dogs and horses visible in the background. And when Zara appeared on Good Morning Britain, behind her viewers could see high shelves, a fireplace, and wooden

beams across the ceiling. Their huge kitchen has dark blue cupboards and a wall oven as well as a white island with large bronze lights overhead. It is open plan with exposed brick walls,

wooden beams and panelling and a seating area. Another kitchen appears to be panelled with sage green-painted wood and has a wall oven as well as a bronze marble worktop with a gild tap over

the sink. The couple also have what they’ve called a “party barn”, a converted barn with a bar, catering facilities, a giant TV screen and lounges. Before moving to Gatcombe Estate, Zara

and Mike lived in a four-storey detached townhouse in Cheltenham.
