Meghan markle's future of 'endless opportunity' includes politics

Meghan Markle attended her final public engagements as a senior working member of the Royal Family on Monday, when she joined husband Prince Harry and the Queen at the Commonwealth Day

Service. Details of the future endeavours the Duchess of Sussex will pursue remain unclear but expert Melanie Bromley suggested Meghan could choose to use her newfound independence to build

a political career. Speaking to Access, Ms Bromley said: "Could I see Meghan running for office? A week ago I would have said absolutely not. "Now I think the opportunities for

Harry and Meghan are endless. "Especially if they make this move and allow themselves to be exposed to lots of different people, lots of different possibilities as far as what they can

do with their role now. "I think it would be difficult, it would absolutely come with some criticism, to have a political affiliation. The Royal Family are not allowed to be politically

inclined but who knows what might happen. "And if not Meghan and Harry, maybe Archie Harrison. They are setting their son up to be somebody who is exposed to privilege and the power

that they are doing, what they are making money from and how it is affecting the Royal Family. “So there must be some concern from the Queen about what their intentions are.” The Duke and

Duchess of Sussex will also have to get used to living without royal benefits such as extensive security details. Addressing the matter of security, Meghan and Harry said on their website:

“It is agreed that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will continue to require effective security to protect them and their son. “This is based on The Duke’s public profile by virtue of being

born into The Royal Family, his military service, the Duchess’ own independent profile, and the shared threat and risk level documented specifically over the last few years.”
