The Duke of Sussex attended a sustainable tourism conference in Edinburgh yesterday which was hosted by Ayesha Hazarik. The broadcaster and former Labour adviser introduced him to the stage
as “Harry” after the royal asked for just his first name to be used. And Ms Hazarik has told of how Harry “didn’t look like a man wracked with anxiety” as he and Meghan step back from royal
duties. In an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Thursday, she said: “He was very warm, relaxed and seemed very focused on the reason he was up there. “He was pretty chilled out. One
thing I did notice was that he was very informal. He wandered around very freely with all the other delegates. “I got the impression he is very focused on what he wants to do. He was pretty
defiant as well. “I didn’t sense that he thinks this has all been a nightmare, I’m going to hide away. “From the reaction he got and the way he conducted himself, he clearly doesn’t need a
title to be a big deal.” The royal requested to be introduced as Harry at the Travalyst event at the EICC. He would normally be referred to as Sir or His Royal Highness - a style he will no
longer use when he stands down as a working royal on March 31. READ MORE: HARRY WARNED 'DOORS WILL BE CLOSING' FOR HIM AND MEGHAN MARKLE After completing their last official
engagements, Meghan and Harry will stop representing the Queen, become financially independent and drop their HRH titles. The couple have also been forced to abandon their Sussex Royal
brand. In a widely-criticised statement on their website, which will have to be rebranded, they conceded that the word “royal” could not be used amid their decision to leave the monarchy.
Harry and Meghan’s final royal appearance is expected to be the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on March 9. They are completing a number of other engagements in the run up to
the service. Harry is teaming up with Jon Bon Jovi tomorrow for an Invictus Games event. The Sussexes will also make an appearance at the Endeavour Fund Awards, which recognises wounded,
injured and sick service personnel, on March 5. The following day Harry will join Formula One’s Lewis Hamilton at the official opening of the Silverstone Experience, a museum about British
motor racing. On March 7 the couple will step out for the Mountbatten Music Festival at the Royal Albert Hall. And Meghan will mark International Women’s Day on March 8. The Sussexes have
already started making the most of their new-found independence, attending a JP Morgan-sponsored alternative investment summit in Florida earlier this month, Harry gave a speech at the
exclusive event in Miami, with speculation rife that he pocketed hundreds of thousands of pounds as a fee.
