Meghan markle news: is meghan planning to relaunch her blog?

Before Meghan Markle was a member of the Royal Family, she was an actress who shared her opinions, beliefs and ideas of her very own lifestyle blog, The Tig. The blog was named after her

favourite type of wine and was designed to be a “hub for the discerning palate” for those interested in food, travel, fashion and beauty. The Duchess of Sussex shut down the site in April

2017, when it became clear her relationship with Prince Harry was becoming more serious with the couple announcing their engagement a few months later. But is it possible that the lifestyle

blog The Tig? Lately, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been embroiled in scandals such as the private jet climate change scandal, whereby the royal couple were revealed to have flown a

private jets four times over 11 days, despite both strongly advocating environmentalism. But despite this backlash, there is a voracious public appetite for more news, images and personal

anecdotes from the Duchess of Sussex. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Meghan Markle’s business manager Andrew Meyer had renewed the trademark to keep the rights to the Tig’s name.

The move sparked speculation about whether the Duchess was planning to begin writing on her blog once again, with many fans expecting potentially new content about royal life and motherhood.

Especially as a website named Tigtots was also trademarked, with some speculating that the new mother may be creating a spin-off based on motherhood. However royal fans everywhere will be

disappointed to learn the Duchess of Sussex will not be relaunching her personal blog. Over on Twitter, fans were quick to express their disappointment over the loss of the website - with

one speculating that “the Queen would never allow” the Duchess to relaunch her blog. A Palace spokesperson confirmed Meghan has “absolutely no plans to relaunch The Tig”. The spokesperson

told People magazine: “The lasting trademark is to prevent false branding, to avoid others purporting to be the Duchess or affiliated with her.” CAN YOU STILL READ THE TIG? The Tig website

still exists, but all that is left on the website is Meghan’s farewell message. The message reads: “To all my Tig friends. After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you,

it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig. “What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. “You’ve made

my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. “Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being “the change you wish to see in the

world.” “Above all, don’t ever forget your worth - as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough. “Thank you for everything. Xx. Meghan Markle.” Lucky for royal
