The Black Eyed Peas star, 44 revealed he wants to do a joint project with Sarah. He said that he has spoken to the Duchess of York about launching her royal music career. Sarah, also known

as Fergie, writes poetry and the pair have discussed recording a song. Will.i.am told the Daily Star Sunday: “Fergie does poetry. She writes her own poems. ”I love her so I want to do a

project with her. Imagine her reciting poetry over my beats. That will be dope.” The Voice judge, real name William Adams, added that it was even Sarah’s idea. He said: “One time I was with

her she brought the topic up. She said to me: ‘Imagine my poetry over your beats.’” In his band The Black Eyes Peas, Will.i.am performed with another Fergie - Stacy Ferguson. But he now

calls the Duchess “the real Fergie”. He said: “Royal Fergie is my home girl. We do tea together all the time. “She even came to my ghetto to mentor kids at a school. I love her. She’s the

real Fergie. “Her daughter Beatrice is the coolest, too. I love her eyes.” A spokesperson for Sarah appeared to give the exciting project the green light. They told The Mail on Sunday:

“Fergie is open to collaborating with Will.i.am. She has been writing poems.” Last year, Will.i.am brought up the possibility of a project with Sarah in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. He

said: “We talked about doing a project together because she has awesome poems, poetry that she does. Her and Oprah, we hung out. “We were bumpin’ in the car in the whip and Fergie was like,

‘Yo, turn that s*** up’.” Since divorcing Prince Andrew in 1996, Sarah’s career has included being an ambassador for Weight Watchers, a brief acting stint with a cameo in Friends and she has

also penned children’s books.
