A former Labour MP, Luciana Berger, has revealed that Jeremy Corbyn supporters have already started to attack Jewish politicians in light of today's damning EHRC report. Speaking to Sky

News, the former MP, who is Jewish, confirmed that she had been sent messages from Corbyn supporters asking her to "prove" the allegations of anti-Semitism. The damning EHRC

report into anti-Semitism in Labour found the party was "responsible for unlawful acts of harassment and discrimination". The UK's human rights watchdog also said Mr

Corbyn's office had "politically interfered" in the complaints process. Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was later suspended from the party following his response to the

damning report. Mr Corbyn suggested the scale of anti-Semitism within Labour had been "dramatically overstated for political reasons". Labour said it was suspending the

party's former leader for a "failure to retract" his remarks. JUST IN: WHAT JEREMY CORBYN SAID TO GET SUSPENDED FROM LABOUR PARTY - STATEMENT Speaking to Sky News, Ms Berger

confirmed that she had received direct messages on social media today following the report's release. She was stunned that far-left activists were "denying responsibility even in

in the wake of this report and its damning findings". Sky News host Gamal Fahnbulleh asked Ms Berger: "Are you still receiving abuse from elements within the Labour Party? Because

that will say a lot about the culture currently in the party." The ex-MP said: "You only have to look at my timeline on Twitter today to see those from the left and supporters of

Jeremy Corbyn coming out today to denigrate the experience of Jewish Labour Party members. Earlier, Ms Berger said "it was the right decision" to suspend Jeremy Corbyn from the

party. Ms Berger quit the Labour Party when Mr Corbyn was leader and she used her resignation speech to condemn the party as being "institutionally anti-Semitic". Mr Corbyn's

successor Sir Keir Starmer said: "It is a day of shame for the Labour Party. We have failed Jewish people. "On behalf of the Labour Party I am truly sorry for all the pain and

grief that has been caused."
