The computing giant revealed last week that it would be raising prices across the UK following the country's decision to leave the European Union. The price of some products and

services could rise by up to 22 per cent as Microsoft looks to bring UK proving in sync with that seen on the continent. This could mean that customers looking to get their hands on a

Surface Studio could end up paying nearer to £3000 for Microsoft's top of the range new device. Microsoft's UK store will be the first place to get the Surface Studio, and if past

releases are anything to go by, the device will also be available from high-street retailers soon after. Based on the other information given out at the event, it looks like the Surface

Studio will be available to pre-order soon. It's also likely that the device will go on sale in November, to match the release date of the new powerful Surface Book i7. The Surface

Studio marks Microsoft's grandest attempt so far to take on Apple's MacBooks when it comes to grabbing the lucrative create and design PC market. The new all-in-one device boasts a

beautiful forged aluminium chassis, as well as a huge 28-inch PixelSense touchscreen display. Microsoft says this is the thinnest LCD display ever built, which offers a smooth image, no

matter how close you are to the screen, thanks to its new TrueColor technology. The Surface Studio can but can be folded down to a 20-degree viewing angle – similar to slanted desks found in

art studios – to give users more room to be creative. Inside, there's a powerful quad-core Intel i7 processor, backed up by 32GB of RAM and three fans to ensure excellent cooling.

Surface Studio also has a built-in linear microphone array, so you can summon Cortana from across the other side of the room, whether the display is actively on or not. Studio also packs a

high-definition camera in the front of the device, which supports Microsoft's Windows Hello, which lets you unlock the computer using facial recognition software.
