He has hosted his own radio show, Fruit Corner, fronted You’ve Been Framed and Harry Hill’s TV Burp and penned children’s book Matt Millz.

Harry, 53, is married to Magda Archer and has three children, Kitty, Winifred and Frederica.

We’ve definitely ramped up the silliness. For example, we’ve got Gregg Wallace meeting his long lost brother Egg Wallace, and I go bin diving with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

I’ve always liked using music in TV shows. You don’t get enough of it. It’s nice to break up a show with some variety. It’s a bit panto, I guess.

If I ever get a bit stuck I think, “What’s the least likely thing to happen?”

For this series I looked at some old recipe books from people like Marguerite Patten. You know, pictures of horrible looking meals with congealed gravy.

I was on Saturday Kitchen once with James Martin and it occurred to me that it might be a funny idea for a TV show.

It’s not dependent on the week’s TV or clips of people falling over.

I know everyone loves TV Burp, but this has been the most fun for me.

I imagine I’ll be back on You’ve Been Framed, which is the gift that keeps on giving.

I’m working on some other shows, too, and finishing off book two of Matt Millz.

I probably bought a painting. I’m a big fan of art. If I get a windfall I try and spend at least some of it on a painting that I like.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever read about yourself?

Apparently I was a brain surgeon. I’m not sure who put that on Wikipedia. My kids used to change my entry to make it less flattering. At one time, it said that I lived in a damp one-bedroom

flat in south London.

Harry Hill’s Tea Time continues on Tuesdays at 8.30pm on Sky One.
