Cheating is more common among the most educated members of the public, according to a survey of cheaters. What is more, cheaters usually choose to pursue an affair with someone who has a
lower level of education than their partner. A whopping 86 per cent of respondents to the survey were university educated or higher. Ashley Madison, the world’s leading married dating
website, surveyed more than 1,500 members to find out what the most common level of education was among members. Only 13 per cent of people on the cheating site claimed their education was
of secondary school level or lower, perhaps showing that those with a lower level of education are more likely to be faithful. Over half of cheaters (53 per cent) have a higher education
level than their partner. Fifty-six per cent claim that their spouse has a higher level of education than their extramarital partner. However, over a third at 36.5 per cent had no idea the
education of their extramarital lover. EDUCATION LEVEL OF CHEATERS High School - 13 per cent College Diploma/Certificate - 22 per cent Some College - 22 per cent Undergraduate University
