One fifth of Britons are likely to bicker about their sex life once they settle down and get past the honeymoon phase, with three fifths of women wanting sex more often than they already do.

These were the latest findings from a study involving 2,383 Britons aged 18 and over, all of whom stated they were in long-term committed relationships.  Participants were quizzed about

different aspects of the relationship they had with their partner, and to begin with they were asked what they enjoyed most about settling down in a relationship.  Once all of the responses

were collated, the top responses were revealed as ‘our lives flow seamlessly’ (41 per cent) followed by ‘we now live together’ (32 per cent).  Similarly, when they were asked what they

missed from the beginning of the relationship the top responses were revealed as ‘we did more spontaneous things together’ (36 per cent) followed by ‘we bickered/argued a lot less’ (33 per

cent).  All respondents were then asked why they and their partner were likely to bicker or argue about their sex life. When provided with a list of possible responses and told to select all

that applied, the top reasons why were revealed as:  * We don’t have enough sex - 37 per cent  * We’re not adventurous enough in the bedroom - 34 per cent  * My partner is a lazy lover - 32

per cent  * We have different likes and dislikes - 20 per cent  * My partner wants to have sex more often than I do - 19 per cent  According to the poll, when asked who wanted sex more

often within their relationship, respondents stated it was 59 per cent female and 41 per cent male - women were eager to have more sex than their significant others.  When asked how they

responded to not getting enough sex, 7 per cent of the relevant respondents confessed they’d looked elsewhere and cheated.  The majority turned to ‘adult content online e.g. videos’ (40 per

cent) and ‘adult toys’ (28 per cent).  The research was carried out by www.VoucherCodesPro.co.uk as part of an ongoing study into Britons relationships and after a rise in searches for

lingerie-related discounts and savings relating to adult toys.  George Charles, spokesperson for the company, said: “Whilst it’s important to find someone sexually attractive, sex isn’t the

be all and end all and the further you get into a relationship the more likely you are to have a little less sex as life gets in the way.  “It’s not something to argue about though, and

definitely not an excuse to cheat on someone.”  Cheating can completely destroy a relationship, but some cheater are never caught.  A relationship expert has revealed the signs to watch out

for if you’re suspicious of your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend.
