The latest puzzle doing the rounds on social media was posted by Try Life with the caption: “Experts say that if you can find your name in this puzzle then you’re in the top 8 per cent and

one of the smartest people in the world.”  But, as with many puzzles taking over social media, all is not what it seems. The challenge may seem a simple one, but the difficulty of this word

search soon becomes apparent.  While many people search for their own name, the puzzle is actually asking them to spot the words ‘your name’.  If you look closely, you will see the words

written in the puzzle three times.  One is written backwards at the top left, the other is on the fourth row down.  The third is at the bottom left of the word search.  Facebook users

commented on the post to discuss the answer to the puzzle.  Many were amused at how long they’d spent looking for their own name.  One user wrote: “I get it! It’s not our name it’s the YOUR

NAME…” “Hahah was trying to find my name and I realised thatcher’s no way this puzzle would have such a difficult/delicate/unusual name there,” added another user.  Some people did go a step

further to see how many actual names they could spot in the puzzle.  One user said: “Did anyone else stare at this puzzle trying to see if there were any names at all? “We all know it says

YOURNAME forward and backward a few times, but has anyone looked further to try and find an actual name? The names I see are Joe, Liz, Jud, Eman, Lema.  “These names are getting pretty

obscure. I’m sure there are even more obscure names in other languages in this puzzle. But yeah you can actually have some fun for a while trying to find some actual names.”  Can you find

the ‘dog’  in this brainteaser? Internet baffled by ‘hardest ever word search’.
