career? Claudia Winkleman began her career in 1991, when she became frequently appearing in the long-running BBC series, Holiday. She continued on the show throughout the mid-1990s, after

which she appeared as a reporter on other shows, such as This Morning. During the 90s she presented a number of game shows including dating show Three’s a Crowd, Talking Telephone Numbers

and God’s Gift. At that time, Claudia appeared on television in bright colours, short red skirts and sexy dresses, a far cry from her more chic look today. She looked very different to how

she does now, with her hair much lighter in colour and her trademark fringe swept to the side. Claudia underwent another style evolution in the early naughties when she landed her first

major television role in 2001. She appeared on the regional discussion programme Central Weekend, then going into present her first daily TV role on the BBC Three’s Liquid News. In true

2000s style, Claudia wore a plethora of colours, from turquoise to bright blue to brown. She was often spotted wearing a wrap dress or dresses made of a sheer, silky, light-weight material -

quintessential of the time. The star was seen out in London wearing strappy, ruffly pink mini dresses and sating black bandeau numbers. It was then that Claudia began to develop her

signature style, sporting her distinctive fringe and wearing darker colours. The 46-year-old was seen attending events in black and white prints, black shirt dresses and started to play

around with black trouser suits. Over the years, Claudia then began to develop the look she is most famous for today. A presenter on Strictly Come Dancing, Claudia regularly appears on the

show in black and white, wearing sharp tailoring. Claudia has kept her signature fringe all of her career, now a sharp full fringe in a much darker style than she used to wear. She

previously told women’s website The Pool: “I find it odd but terrific that people like my fringe. I can’t imagine life with a visible forehead.”
