Strictly come dancing tour backlash: performers slammed for ‘mocking'

A video shared by current host of the tour, Ore Oduba, has sparked outrage once again.  The video shows Neil and Katya Jones dressed in a fat suit for their cheeky routine.  However, the

energetic number during which they both share jokes about their size has caused Ore’s, 32, followers to have a furious reaction to the scene.  One wrote: “So fat people are funny? I don’t

think so…” Another added: “Why the fat suits? Bad taste?” A third raged: “I don’t think fat people are to be laugh it either. No matter what size you are everyone dances. Some of the best

dancers are larger people.” A fourth added: “Not finding that funny. Quite offensive actually.” However, some saw the funny side of the joke and defended the video on Twitter.  One said:

“Brilliant! How lucky was Neil to find someone as bonkers as he is…” A second commented: “Well I’m a fat person and I think it’s hilarious. The worlds gone mad so b****y PC!!!” The tour sees

last year’s alumni put on their dancing shoes once more for fans of the BBC show.  Debbie McGee, Gemma Atkinson, Davood Ghadami, Alexandra Burke, Jonnie Peacock and winner Joe McFadden will

star in the Strictly Come Dancing tour.  As the celebrities and their professionals train for the gruelling schedule, fans spotted two getting particularly cosy in a group shot.  Gemma, 33,

and Gorka Marquez, 27, could be seen getting up close and personal with each other as the former Emmerdale star placed a protective hand on her rumoured lover’s shoulder.  The pair have
