The actress famously fell in love with Brad when they co-starred in 2005 film Mr and Mrs Smith while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. However, on the set of 2015 drama By The Sea,

in which they played a rowing married couple, the sparks were flying for entirely different reasons. "The first week was the hardest because Brad knew I was worried and impatient,"

says the 40-year-old star, who admits it became a case of life mirroring art as the pair bumped heads repeatedly. "You don't want to drag your own personal issues into the

process, but we had a talk and decided we were going to be completely honest with each other." However, the mum of six who married Brad in 2014, says she welcomed the

"dangerous" tension between her and the 52-year-old as it would make or break their relationship. "It was our way of testing ourselves," Ange, who doesn't

necessarily have the most conventional attitude to relationships, having walked down the aisle with ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton wearing vials of each others blood, adds to Ok! magazine.

"We knew that if we could get through this, we'd come out even stronger and happier. And we did. We've always liked putting ourselves through challenges, even though it was

maybe a little more dangerous for us as a couple. I don't think we want to go through it again though."
