The Grand Tour star Jeremy Clarkson is set to extend Diddly Squat farm after he went head-to-head with the local council. It has been reported that the 64-year-old has won his bid to see him
construct a bullpen. Brand new planning documents show the approval for the development which will ensure the “welfare of the main herd.” The Prime star who owns a relatively small herd of
Beef Shorthorn cattle, could purchase a couple more thanks to the extension. It will see the former Top Gear host add 6m in width and 11.5m in height to the end of one of his barns to house
the animals. Eager fans will hope to see this featured on his popular show, Clarkson’s Farm, in the upcoming months. The application reasoned: “The proposed extension is to provide a pen in
order that the farm’s bull can be housed separate from the main herd to ensure welfare and avoid out-of-season calvings.” This came after the news that Jeremey is set to open a stunning
Cotswold pub worth £1 million. In an iconic A Levels pep talk to youngsters around the country, he revealed that the British boozer will open on bank holiday weekend, welcoming fans to drop
in. Over the past weeks, the star has been gutting it ahead of the launch. On the grounds, he has erected a giant marquee so he can serve alcohol in the outdoor space and allow visitors to
enjoy the beautiful countryside settings. Jumping onto the trend since the lockdown, many establishments have made use of their garden areas so punters can connect and relax without being
stuck inside. The staggering green tent is around 5,000 square feet and is situated at the back of The Windmill pub. Remaining on brand for Jeremey, linking to his life’s work, the tent
boasts a large fluorescent orange lettering on its roof, spelling out “GT - Grand Tour”. However, this is the name of his soon-to-be-dissolved popular motoring show after it was announced
the trio would be focusing on other projects. Jeremey applied to West Oxfordshire District Council on July 30 to make changes to his licensing permit, with a notice of his intention posted
outside The Windmill, which is located in the village of Asthall, close to Burford, Oxfordshire. Burford has captured the hearts of many celebs over the years including Victoria and David
Beckham and Kate Winslet. Thanks to its celebrity status many people travel from all over to come and visit the quaint little town. It states that Clarkson wishes to “update the floor plans
to include a bar on the 1st floor, extend the licensable area outside the premises and include a temporarily (sic) tent in a fixed location.”
