Jennifer grey's husband files for divorce from dirty dancing star

Clark Gregg, 58, and Jennifer Grey, 60, separated in January and announced the news of their amicable split in a joint statement on Instagram. The Marvel actor made their break-up official

after he filed for divorce, according to reports. Clark and Jennifer first tied the knot in 2001 and welcomed their daughter Stella, 18, in the same year. The former couple later appeared in

the Lifetime movie Road To Christmas together five years later. The Blast reports that divorce documents were filed by Clark in Los Angeles County Courts on August 13. Jennifer and Clark

TELL-ALL BOOK The pair penned: "After 19 years together, we separated in January, knowing we’d always be a family who loves, values and cares for each other. "We recently made the

difficult decision to divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we’ve shared and the wonderful daughter we’ve raised. - Jennifer & Clark." They finished:

"P.S. totally crying as we post this."(sic) Fans of the couple flocked to comment on their split as many people offered their well-wishes. Clark, who co-starred with Jennifer in

the 2006 Lifetime movie The Road To Christmas, is best-known for his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has played Agent Phil Coulson on the TV show Marvel's Agents Of

S.H.I.E.L.D. as well as multiple movies including Iron Man and The Avengers. Last year, the Hollywood star opened up about the couple's marriage. "When we’re in New York, a date

night usually involves theater, sushi and maybe a salsa class if she wins or binge-watching if I win!" Clark told Closer. The news of the pair's divorce comes after it was

announced that Jennifer would be returning to her iconic role of Baby in a sequel to her hit movie Dirty Dancing, in which she starred alongside the late Patrick Swayze. The movie has been

confirmed by Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer. He told Deadline that the romantic-comedy will be just like the beloved 1987 original. John said: "It will be exactly the kind of romantic,

nostalgic movie that the franchise’s fans have been waiting for and that have made it the biggest-selling library title in the company’s history."
