Rami malek and girlfriend lucy boynton look smitten at oscars 2019

Rami Malek scooped the Best Actor award at the 91st Academy Awards in Los Angeles, California. Before collecting the gong, the 37-year-old actor passionately kissed his partner and Bohemian

Rhapsody co-star Lucy Boynton. When the star took to the stage to receive the honour, he gushed about the 25-year-old actress. “Lucy Boynton you’re the heart of this film you’re beyond

immensely talented you have captured my heart,” he said Earlier in the night, walked arm in arm on the red carpet with his girlfriend at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood Posing for

photographers, the  actor wrapped a tender arm around his stunning partner as they smiled for the paparazzi. The award-wining film star looked dapper in a black tuxedo, which he paired with

a crisp white shirt and black shoes. Meanwhile, his beau, who plays Mary Austin in the Queen biopic, smouldered in a glamorous off-the-shoulder dress. Lucy’s purple satin frock fell to her

feet and had elaborated quarter length sleeves. What’s more, the elegant gown had black bows stitched on either side of her bosom and one tied around her waist. She accessorised the elegant

ensemble with delicate rings and a pair of statement earrings. Her look was completed with dramatic eye make-up, consisting of smokey eye-shadow and lashings of mascara. In one image, the

blonde beauty is seen smiling widely as she cuddled up to her Oscar-nominated beau. Rami was nominated for the Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody and won.

The American star played Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in the film celebrating the legendary British band. He faced tough competition from a host of famous faces, including Bradley Cooper,

who directed and starred in A Star Is Born. Christian Bale, Viggo Mortensen and Willem Dafoe were also nominated for the same category. Rami previously picked up the Best Actor in a Motion

Picture at the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards earlier this year. He collected the trophy for his portrayal of the late Queen singer at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 6. At the time,

Rami said: “I am beyond moved. My heart is pounding out of my chest right now. “This is a profound honour to receive this and to be counted among such extraordinary actors.” Concluding his

heart-warming speech, he finished: “I am privileged to be counted among you.” Rami was up against Bradley, Willem, Lucas Hedges and John David Washington in the category. It was his third

Golden Globes nomination, and first win. On the same night, the highly-acclaimed Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody took home the gong for Best Motion Picture.
