Amazon has cut nearly 40% off its best-selling smart TV and customers have hailed it as 'superb- value' for the price. The 32" TCL FHD Smart Fire TV has been reduced from £179
to £109 – a saving of £70. This device is currently the number one seller in Amazon's TVs category with more than 2,000 units sold in the past month. Those looking for a larger TV can
opt for the 40" model for £158, or Amazon's second most popular TV, the 40" Hisense FHD Smart TV, for £179. However, those choosing the TCL model can appreciate its full high
definition screen, with 1080p resolution providing twice the realistic and detailed picture compared to standard HD TVs. Its sound is enhanced by Dolby Decoder, which is said to deliver
'pure, deep and impactful' surround sound. READ MORE: Argos shoppers can snap up £19.99 Bluetooth tracker for £5 with deal READ MORE: Shoppers say skincare with 'unique'
ingredient is 'worth every penny' for clearing spots The TV also features DTS Virtual X, a surround sound technology that creates the illusion of sound coming from all directions
for a more immersive experience. The TCL is powered by Fire software, offering easy access to a plethora of films and series on streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and BBC
iPlayer, reports Nottinghamshire Live. It also comes with an Alexa Voice Remote for hands-free control. While the TCL may not outperform high-end models from brands such as Samsung or LG, it
provides an affordable alternative that's perfect for a secondary TV in the bedroom or a smaller space. TCL smart TV Those seeking a high-end device without splashing out might want to
consider the new Sky Glass Gen 2, with customers able spread the cost from £29 and gain access to more than 100 channels, Netflix and Discovery+. Argos is also offering a number of price
drops in its Big Red sales event, including 10% off the 50” Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV, now £296.10. However, the 32" TCL FHD Smart Fire TV has won the approval of Amazon
customers, securing a 4.2-star rating from more than 2,400 reviews – 80% of which are four or five stars. One pleased customer said: "The TV is superb value compared to similar TVs,
it's a bargain and really good quality. "The picture is sharp, colours stand out, it's slim [and] easy to set up [with] a good quality remote control and decent sound quality.
The speakers sound great for a small TV – the sound quality is good and certainly loud enough with clear dialogue and music. The size is perfect for a bedroom or small living room."
Another said: "I've been impressed by a lot of things about this inexpensive TV. Set up was easy, connection to WiFi straightforward and without issue. The sound is well above
average for this kind of TV, it's good, clear and with a good range. Crisp, clear picture with good colour." This buyer pointed out a potential drawback, saying: "It's a
really good TV but you can't fit it to a wall bracket as there isn't any screws or fixings to the back of the TV to connect it." However, this satisfied customer said:
"Easy to set up and works amazingly. The quality of the picture is amazing as well. Would definitely recommend. Links with my PlayStation and works perfectly. The price you are paying
definitely is worth it."
